My Background & Philosophy

Healing isn’t about 'fixing' what is broken; it’s about reconnecting with the part of you that has always been whole. My path to becoming a therapist was driven by a deep desire to understand the complexities of human resilience.

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) from Metropolitan State University of Denver, a program that instilled in me a deep commitment to social justice and the understanding that our environment profoundly shapes our mental wellness. Over the past 9 years, I have worked across various clinical settings, witnessing the incredible capacity people have for transformation when they are given the right tools and a safe space to process their story.

My Clinical Approach

I believe that true change happens when we address both the mind and the body. My approach is 'Integrative,' meaning I pull from various evidence-based practices to meet your unique needs:

  • EMDR & Somatic Awareness: To release the heavy grip of the past and regulate the nervous system.

  • ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): To help you stop struggling against difficult thoughts and start living a life aligned with your deepest values.

  • SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy): To identify your existing strengths and find practical, manageable steps toward the future you want.

  • DBT: For building concrete skills in emotional regulation and distress tolerance."
